Not at all. My practice is openly Christian, and I'm happy to bring faith into our work, but everyone is welcome. You decide how much faith is part of your counseling.
No. At our first session, we'll talk about what role you'd like faith to play — a lot, a little, or none at all. You can change that anytime.
Yes. What you share is protected by Texas law and federal privacy rules (HIPAA). I won't share information with anyone — including your pastor, family, or employer — without your written permission. Legal exceptions include serious risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or person with a disability, or a court order. I'll review these with you at our first session.
Yes. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant video (telehealth) sessions for clients located in Texas. Due to licensing rules, you must be physically in Texas during telehealth sessions.
Not yet. I'm currently a self-pay practice, though I plan to join networks such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Texas Medicaid in the future. See the Rates page for details.
Individual, couples, and family sessions are $135 for 50 minutes, and the initial intake is also $135. Diagnostic assessments are $350, $750, or $1,000 depending on the type. You'll receive a Good Faith Estimate before your first session.
Payment is due at the time of service by credit, debit, HSA, or FSA card through the secure Carepatron client portal. Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
Yes. I offer full diagnostic profiles, targeted assessments for specific questions such as ADHD, autism, or OCD, and an initial profile without a diagnosis, using standardized, research-based questionnaires along with conversation.
Click "Book a Session" to choose a time through my secure client portal. You'll receive intake forms to complete online before your first appointment.
It's mostly about getting to know you — what brings you in, your history, your goals, and how you'd like faith to be part of counseling. By the end, we'll have a sense of a plan and whether we're a good fit.
It depends on you and your goals. Most people start weekly or every other week, and we'll check in on progress together.
I'm not able to provide emergency or crisis services. Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
